With over 20 years' experience advising clients, Young America Capital provides strategic advice to two categories of clients:
- Investment managers in the alternative-asset classes, including venture capital, private equity, and hedge funds. YAC provides advisory services in the areas of fund structuring, fund-raising/marketing, LP relations, and back-office operations.
- Businesses seeking seed stage, early stage, and mezzanine debt and/or equity working capital.
Young America Capital leverages strong relationships with banks, venture-capital and private-equity funds, fund-of-funds, gatekeepers, foundations, hedge funds, Fortune 500 M&A Executives and large employers' retirement systems to facilitate clients' goals.
The Clipper Ship - Young America was built in 1853. With dimensions of 243'x 43', she held 1961 tons of cargo, and sailed from New York to San Francisco (around Cape Horn) and to/from Europe until 1886.
The Marine Research Society journal of American Clipper Ships states: “For beautiful lines and handsome appearance she was not excelled by anything afloat”.
